Corry Chapter of American Red Cross was founded during World War I. The charter for the chapter was issued on June 6, 1917. Since that time, hundreds of volunteers have logged countless hours responding to emergencies, transporting local residents to doctor’s appointments, serving at blood drives, and lending a hand whenever possible in the community.

Hundreds of people have learned life-saving first aid and CPR skills through courses offered by the chapter.

Today the chapter has an eighteen-member board of directors, who also serve as volunteers along with approximately one hundred additional volunteers from the community.
