The Corry Chapter was founded during World War I. We received our Charter on June 6, 1917.
Armed Forces Emergency Services (AFES)
Corry Chapter's AFES program: We provide emergency communications to Service Members and their families 24 hours a day / 365 days a year. For emergency notifications after regular business hours, contact us, at 814-663-2394.
Biomedical Services
Blood services in Corry are scheduled quite regularly. The Corry Chapter sets up Blood Drives 6 times a year at the Chapter house. The Chapter also schedules 2 Blood Drives at the Corry Area High School.
Disaster Services
Disaster Action Team members from the Corry Chapter offer assistance to victims of disasters by providing emergency food, clothing, shelter and medical assistance.
Health & Safety Services
The Corry Chapter offers First Aid, CPR, and Babysitting courses. In addition, we provide Basic Aid Training (BAT) in the Corry Area School District for students in the 4th Grade.
International Services
International Services is also an important function of the Corry Chapter, as we provide assistance in tracing lost family members (i.e., holocaust victims and families separated by war).
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer with the Corry Chapter! Volunteers are always needed in the area of Disaster Assistance, Armed Forces Emergency Services (AFES), Health and safety instructors (will train) and Drivers (who are extremely important in providing transportation assistance for medical appointments).
