Engine 662

Gets a major pump rebuild

Engine 662 is a 1971 Maxam 

with a 1000 gpm Hale Pump 

& 

a 1000 gallon tank

New bottom section  (red section was reused)

The pump was repaired by 

"dropping a complete new center section" 

into the bottom half of the pump housing  (red section)

Water Passageway

 into the eye of the impeller 

the QSD pump has what is know as a 

double suction as it takes in water from booth sides
